The society introduces itself

A small circle of members and followers of Sri Aurobindo’s teachings form the Sri Aurobindo Society Deutschland in Heidelberg.

The Sri Aurobindo Society is an international organization whose goal is to work toward progressive, universal harmony in the spirit of Sri Aurobindo's teachings. It was founded in 1960 to bring together people and institutions, regardless of nationality or religious affiliation, who are inspired by this ideal and who wish to work individually or jointly for its realization throughout the world. Its German branch has been working toward the same goals and ideals in Europe since 1988.

Our activities

The Sri Aurobindo Society Deutschland e.V. regularly meets for events and meetings at its headquarters in Heidelberg.

Together we meditate, listen to lectures, and share experiences. But what unites us all is living in the spirit of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. We wish to continue to express the striving for a higher consciousness and the unity of humanity through our active participation.
